Job summary

Primoris Renewable Energy is seeking an Electrician to perform on-site electrical installation, maintenance, and repair work within a designated area. The role emphasizes safe, code-compliant on-site tasks with attention to detail and teamwork.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, an accredited apprenticeship or equivalent training, 3–5 years of experience, and a preferred Journeyman license. Strong reading of blueprints and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited electrician apprenticeship or equivalent training.
• 3–5 years of experience as a qualified electrician with knowledge of NEC and local codes.
• Journeyman license preferred where applicable; ability to read blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, conduits, fixtures, and control equipment according to blueprints, schematics, and local codes.
• Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions using testing devices and diagnose issues.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
• Inspect systems for hazards, defects, and necessary repairs.
• Ensure safety standards and company policies are followed on site.
• Collaborate with other trades to complete projects efficiently.
• Maintain records of work, materials, and time spent.
• Adhere to PPE and safety procedures; operate tools safely.
