Job summary

Johnson Service Group, Inc. in Houston seeks a Project Engineer for a direct-hire, onsite role with a commercial electrical contractor's Telecom division.

You will provide engineering information to the Project Manager to ensure plans, codes, specifications and design instructions are met while supporting startup and site logistics. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED; a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or related field is preferred; 2+ years with an electrical subcontractor;

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
• 2+ years' experience with an electrical subcontractor.
• BISCI knowledge recommended.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical engineering information to Project Manager to ensure compliance with plans, codes, specs and design instructions.
• Assist evaluations and solutions of field problems and refer to Project Management.
• Support startup checklist and site logistics plan development.
• Assist with quality control plan and customer interface.
• Support permit processes and administer RFI process.
