Job summary

Manufacturing Test Engineer - Electrical position based in Findlay Township, PA, is a 1-year contract with a $41-46/hour W2 rate plus benefits. The role focuses on testing Solar Inverters, Reservoir Inverter Units, Solar Power Stations, and Reservoir Storage Units per IEC/UL standards while preserving quality and safety policies.

The candidate will document test results, develop test plans, and ensure calibration of instruments in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering with 4+ years inverter testing.
• Knowledge of inverter manufacturing functions and quality/testing processes.
• Strong analytical skills and systematic troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in English reading and writing.
• Basic knowledge of control systems in manufacturing testing.
• Proficiency with electrical test instruments (voltage/current probes, oscilloscopes).

Responsibilities

• Drive product quality improvements by identifying issues and implementing test system solutions.
• Troubleshoot inverter and power station testing issues using technical expertise.
• Prepare routine test reports and share results with engineering.
• Ensure proper LOTO procedures and EHS compliance during testing.
• Ensure test rigs operate at full capacity and calibrate instruments.
• Develop test plans for inverters and electrical components.
• Coordinate FAT with customers and manage testing schedules.
• Align test methods with IEC and UL standards.
