Tundra Technical Solutions in Findlay Township, PA, is seeking a Manufacturing Test Engineer - Electrical to join its advanced manufacturing team. The role focuses on hands-on electrical testing of equipment, inverters, and power systems in a manufacturing setting.

The ideal candidate will have LV/MV knowledge, experience developing and troubleshooting electrical test procedures, and familiarity with P80i or similar testing systems. Strong problem-solving and safety awareness are required.

Qualifications

• Electrical Testing Expertise – Hands-on experience testing electrical equipment, inverters, or power systems in a manufacturing environment.
• LV/MV Knowledge – Strong understanding of Low Voltage (LV) and Medium Voltage (MV) electrical systems and safe testing practices.
• Manufacturing Test Experience – Experience developing, executing, and troubleshooting electrical manufacturing test procedures, test rigs, and equipment.
• Troubleshooting & Quality – Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on identifying manufacturing defects, improving test processes, and preventing escaping defects.
• Inverter Testing – Experience testing solar inverters, BESS/energy storage systems, VFDs, or power conversion equipment.
• P80i Experience – Familiarity with P80i or similar electrical testing systems/software.
• PLC Controls – Basic knowledge of PLC controls, control systems, and their application in manufacturing testing.
• Standards & Safety – Knowledge of IEC/UL standards, LOTO, EHS requirements, electrical test instruments, oscilloscopes, voltage/current probes, and calibration practices.
