Job summary

Eaton's Electrical Sector America in Omaha, NE, is seeking an Electrical Engineer to translate customer drawings into manufacturing solutions. You will be the technical bridge between our sales force and customers, guiding approvals, witness tests, and circuit designs that meet specifications.

You will shape engineering documentation for drafting, procurement, and production and provide hands-on guidance to manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• No immigration sponsorship or CPT/OPT/STEM OPT support.
• No relocation offered; reside within 50 miles of Omaha, NE.
• Preferred: design experience with Medium Voltage Switchgear.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical liaison between sales, customers, and engineering; translate drawings and specs into manufacturing solutions.
• Review configurations, perform circuit design/calculations, and support drafting, purchasing, and production.
• Provide guidance to manufacturing teams and support product marketing initiatives.
• Assist in customer project reviews, inspections, and witness tests.
• Maintain and update engineering documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
