Job summary

Johnson Controls in Waynesboro, PA, is seeking an Electrical Designer Drafter (onsite) to design, document, and support industrial control systems for advanced refrigeration and automation projects.

The role requires an associate degree or equivalent experience, 2+ years in electrical controls design, and proficiency with Autodesk Electrical. You will collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and field teams at the FRICK facility.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 5 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• 2+ years of electrical controls design experience.
• Proficiency with Autodesk Electrical is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and document electrical control systems for industrial equipment.
• Create electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and BOMs using Autodesk Electrical.
• Develop PLC and embedded computer hardware documentation for new designs and customer projects.
• Coordinate with engineers, production, and suppliers to resolve design/manufacturing issues.
• Support panel shop and assist in design documentation and reviews.
