Job summary

Integrated Metal Products is seeking an Assembly Supervisor to lead the Electrical Assembly team in Lakeland, FL. The role oversees wiring, panel builds, component installation, and testing, ensuring safety and adherence to NEC/UL standards and customer specifications.

You will mentor assemblers, coordinate production, and collaborate with Engineering, Mechanical, Welding, and Quality to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certificate preferred.
• 3-5 years electrical assembly experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• 1-3 years leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts.
• Familiarity with NEC, UL508A, and industrial electrical standards.
• Experience with electrical testing equipment (multimeters, continuity testers, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and mentor Electrical Assemblers and cross-trained team members.
• Supervise wiring, conduit routing, panel assembly, component installation, and system integration.
• Provide hands‑on support for diagnosing electrical issues during assembly and testing; collaborate with Engineering, Mechanical, Welding, and Quality.
• Coordinate with Production, Engineering, and Purchasing to maintain material flow and job readiness; track progress and adjust priorities.
• Enforce electrical safety practices and maintain a clean, compliant work area.
