Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in a mechanical or electrical assembly role, including team leadership experience.
• Knowledge of general production processes and mechanical/electrical assembly techniques.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to analyze data and manage budgets and KPI boards.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership for the department and supervise the team to hit KPIs in safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Oversee assembly processes and coordinate with department leaders; train on complex processes and troubleshoot issues.
• Manage inventory and supplies using Oracle ERP and internal tools to ensure availability of parts.
• Promote safety, maintain a safe work environment, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Prepare production and status reports; communicate issues to upper management.
• Support budget oversight and cost control for the department.
• Foster teamwork, mentor team members, and support continuous improvement.
