Job summary

Mettler Toledo AG in Florida is seeking an Assembly Lead to direct Assemblers in mechanical and/or electrical groups, ensuring fast, safe, high-quality task completion. You will act as SME for tier 1 escalations, troubleshoot units, train staff, and drive cell output while maintaining a positive environment and adhering to MT safety policies.

This role demands hands-on leadership, coordination with the Assembly Manager, and ongoing participation in startup meetings and floor walks to monitor

Qualifications

• Experience leading assembly teams in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to resolve tier 1 escalations and act as SME for assembly cells.
• Experience with SAP and production data systems.

Responsibilities

• Assemble systems as designed.
• Provide guidance to Assemblers and drive cell output.
• Conduct daily floor walks and Gemba walks to assess cell status.
• Train new and existing assemblers in basic and advanced processes.
• Support 5S program and maintain a safe work environment.
