Job summary

ACCIONA Energía is seeking a Site EHS Manager to support the Fleming Solar Farm construction in Kentucky. You will lead safety programs, conduct trainings, and ensure compliance with HSE policies, SSP, EAP, and regulatory standards on site.

The role requires 3–5 years of safety leadership in construction or energy projects, high‑voltage safety experience, and the ability to travel and relocate to project sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health and Safety, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 3–5 years of progressive safety experience in construction, industrial, energy, or renewable energy environments.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, environmental compliance requirements, and construction safety best practices.
• High-voltage electrical safety experience required.
• Experience conducting incident investigations, risk assessments, safety audits, and corrective action management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Enablon or similar safety management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with HSE policies, SSP, EAP, Contractor Safety Policy, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead the implementation of project safety programs and foster a proactive safety culture.
• Conduct safety orientations, training, toolbox talks, and safety meetings.
• Review JSAs and participate in constructability reviews; identify risks and mitigation strategies.
• Perform routine site inspections, audits, and risk assessments; ensure timely corrective actions.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Monitor safety metrics, develop monthly campaigns, and prepare safety reports.
• Oversee contractor safety documentation and permits; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Develop and coordinate emergency response plans and drills.
• Serve as safety liaison during inspections and maintain records in systems.
• Partner with Engineering and Construction teams on Safety in Design and project closeout.
