Job summary

ACCIONA Energía seeks a Site EHS Manager to lead safety across Fleming Solar Farm construction, ensuring compliance with HSE policies and regulations, and promoting a strong safety culture among workers and subcontractors.

You will oversee safety programs, training, incident investigations, and regulatory compliance throughout the project lifecycle, coordinating with Engineering and Construction teams. Position requires relocation to the site in Fleming, KY.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Safety, EH&S, Engineering, Construction Mgmt or related field.
• 3–5 years of progressive safety experience in construction, industrial, energy, or renewable energy environments.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and environmental compliance; construction safety best practices.
• High-voltage electrical safety experience required.
• Experience conducting incident investigations, risk assessments, safety audits, and corrective action management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Enablon or similar safety management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with HSE policies, SSP, EAP, Contractor Safety Policy, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead project safety programs and foster a proactive safety culture among employees, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Conduct safety orientations, environmental and safety training, toolbox talks, daily safety meetings, and weekly safety committee meetings.
• Review JSAs, participate in constructability reviews, identify risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Perform routine site inspections, audits, safety observations, and risk assessments to verify compliance and drive improvements.
• Lead incident investigations, root-cause analyses, and corrective action development to prevent recurrence.
• Monitor safety performance metrics, develop monthly safety campaigns, and prepare weekly/monthly safety reports.
• Oversee contractor safety documentation, qualifications, permits, and work practices to ensure compliance.
