Job summary

Wheatland, a division of Zekelman Industries, seeks an EHS Coordinator to lead environmental, health, and safety initiatives at the Warren, OH facility. You will drive OSHA compliance, develop programs, conduct inspections, and deliver training to ensure a safe workplace.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in manufacturing EHS, OSHA certs, and strong communication to engage front-line teams. This onsite role focuses on continuous safety improvements and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in environmental health and safety, preferably in manufacturing.
• Associate degree in Safety/Environmental disciplines or equivalent preferred.
• OSHA 30/10-hour certification and First Aid/CPR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and coaching on EHS matters, focusing on frontline supervision.
• Develops and maintains EHS programs in compliance with OSHA and environmental standards.
• Conducts regular site inspections and implements corrective actions.
• Delivers EHS orientation and ongoing training to staff.
• Investigates incidents and prepares reports with corrective action plans.
