Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER MFGSC division is seeking an EHS Coordinator for an onsite role at the Fontana, CA facility. The position focuses on deploying Managing Environmental Safety and Health (MESH) initiatives, maintaining EHS systems, and reporting EHS metrics.

You will lead incident investigations, support training programs (PPE, First Aid, Machine Safety), coordinate with front line leaders, and help drive the site toward a zero-incident safety culture while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 1+ years EHS experience or HS Diploma with 3+ years EHS experience.
• Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future.
• No relocation benefit; candidates within 50 miles of Fontana, CA will be considered.
• Preferred: strong communication, MS Office proficiency, and EHS knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support EHS activities at the site, including MESH initiatives.
• Maintain EHS systems, data collection, and reporting of metrics.
• Lead investigations of accidents and near-misses; drive corrective actions.
• Coordinate training programs (PPE, First Aid, Machine Safety, etc.).
• Support site sustainability initiatives and regulatory compliance.
