Job summary

Eaton Corporation’s ES GDCO DIT division in Woodridge, IL is seeking an EHS Specialist to support environmental, health, safety and sustainability programs at the site. This full-time role helps lead a zero-incident safety culture for all employees and groups at the Woodridge facility.

You will partner with operations to assess risks, track EHS metrics, and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal requirements while advancing MESH and PROLaunch initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety, industrial hygiene, environmental studies, manufacturing engineering, management/business, or supply chain.
• 1+ years of EHS experience in a warehouse/manufacturing environment.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• No relocation benefit; reside within 50 miles of Woodridge facility.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects to drive the Zero Incident Safety Culture and support EHS committees.
• Facilitate risk assessments and set targets based on key EHS risks.
• Ensure projects meet PROLaunch and MESH Change Management processes.
• Set EHS goals and track action items with leadership.
• Use MESH Prism to manage injuries, environmental metrics, and data.
• Support site security and facility management as needed.
• Coordinate EHS training for personnel.
