Triumvirate Environmental is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Consultant for the West Region Advisory Services team. The role is onsite with clients in the greater Los Angeles, CA area and involves measuring hazards, evaluating controls, inspections, training, and reporting.

The candidate should have 2+ years in EHS, a bachelor's degree in a related field, strong communication, detail orientation, and a valid driver's license with US work authorization.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in an EHS capacity.
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health, Safety, or a related scientific field.
• Excellent communication & customer service skills.
• Detail orientation.
• Problem solver with the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
• Possess valid driver's license and personal vehicle.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Measure occupational and environmental hazards using calibrated equipment or samples.
• Assess effectiveness of engineered control systems (e.g., fume hoods).
• Inspect machinery and equipment such as lifting devices and guards.
• Conduct workplace safety inspections and PPE evaluations.
• Identify hazards and help implement control measures.
• Investigate accidents and recommend remedial actions.
• Communicate safety issues to client personnel and recommend actions.
• Conduct routine EHS trainings (new employee orientation, hazard communication, forklift training).
• Write reports and OSHA recordkeeping forms.
• Assist in developing health and safety systems, policies, procedures, and manuals.
