Job summary

Triumvirate Environmental, a leading environmental services firm, is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Consultant to join our Somerville Advisory Services team.

You will apply EH&S concepts to identify issues, develop resolutions, and support short- and long-term consulting engagements for higher education, life sciences, healthcare, and industrial clients in the greater Boston area. Onsite role with emphasis on safety program development and compliance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in an EH&S capacity.
• Detail orientation and problem-solving skills.
• Must have a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Measure occupational and environmental hazards using calibrated equipment and collect samples as required.
• Assess effectiveness of engineered controls and inspect machinery and equipment.
• Conduct workplace safety inspections and assess PPE usage.
• Identify hazards and assist in implementing control measures.
• Investigate accidents and recommend corrective actions.
• Communicate safety issues to client personnel and propose actions.
• Deliver EH&S trainings such as new employee orientation and hazard communication.
• Write reports and complete OSHA recordkeeping forms.
• Contribute to development of health and safety policies and procedures.
