CATHEXIS in Arlington, VA, is seeking a Business Operations Specialist to support the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of War for Strategic Readiness. You will manage workflows, scheduling, and document control for the SSC Task Force, coordinating with leadership and stakeholders to ensure timely deliverables.

The role requires an Active Secret DoW Clearance, a Bachelor's degree in a related field, and at least two years of operations experience.

Qualifications

• Active Secret DoW Clearance
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in business operations, program operations, or administrative/executive support
• Experience supporting government or military leadership offices
• Ability to independently manage operational functions on high-visibility, mission-critical program efforts
• Proficiency with MS Office, SharePoint, and standard collaboration tools

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operational workflow, resourcing, and schedule management across concurrent SSC Task Force priorities
• Coordinate scheduling, logistics, and read-ahead materials for team meetings and leadership briefings
• Track taskers, suspenses, deliverables, and action items; maintain status trackers and flag at-risk timelines
• Oversee document quality control and formatting standards for briefing materials and reports
• Manage records, document control, and knowledge management for SSC Task Force products, including SharePoint administration
• Coordinate travel arrangements, calendars, conference rooms, and access logistics
• Prepare agendas, capture minutes, and drive action-item closure
• Support onboarding and clearance verification for new staff
• Draft and route official communications
• Support data organization for analytic products and reporting cycles
