Job summary

CATHEXIS is seeking a Senior Operations Research Analyst to apply quantitative methods in support of the SSC Task Force and related DoD leadership. The role emphasizes data-driven metrics, decision support tools, and policy analysis for the SSC program portfolio.

The position is onsite daily at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA and requires an Active Secret DoW clearance. A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field and 8+ years of experience are required or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Active Secret DoW Clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree in Operations Research, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Data Analytics, or related quantitative field (or equivalent).
• Minimum of eight (8) years of professional experience in operations research or data-driven program evaluation.
• Ability to work independently on high-visibility or mission-critical program aspects.
• Strong ability to translate complex data into clear recommendations for senior leadership.
• United States citizenship required to obtain DoW clearance.

Responsibilities

• Formulate quantitative modeling and analytics to support SSC decision-making and policy.
• Develop weighted performance metrics to assess SSC alignment with the National Defense Strategy (NDS).
• Conduct SSC Degree-Granting Cost-Benefit Analysis and evaluate degree-granting authority costs/benefits.
• Develop a Senior Service College Fellowship Program grading metric using weighted factors.
• Analyze Fellowship RPI data and site visit findings against selection criteria for SSC designations.
• Collect and analyze data for SSC Objectives Evaluation and Curriculum assessments.
• Propose dashboard parameters to track ILR and CER for military personnel datasets.
• Develop decision-support tools and models for DASW(SR) and OUSW(P&R) leadership.
