Job summary

Artemis Consulting, LLC is seeking a Mid-Level Financial Management Analyst/Consultant to support the Department of the Navy and NAVWAR in Washington, D.C. This is a full-time, onsite position located at the Washington Navy Yard and employment is contingent on obtaining an active security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• 3–7 years of Navy/DoW financial management or relevant federal consulting experience.
• Strongly preferred: DoW/NAVWAR experience including PPBE processes.
• Ability to obtain a SECRET government security clearance (TS/SCI may be required).

Responsibilities

• Enter, maintain, and analyze financial data in government systems (Navy ERP, Standard Procurement System, and successor systems).
• Assist with budget formulation, cost tracking, and variance analysis.
• Measure organizational performance and evaluate program or policy impacts on budget execution.
• Research financial and economic trends affecting funding and expenditures.
• Ensure compliance with policies governing budget formulation and maintenance.
• Manage multiple funding types and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare and present financial budgets, reports, analyses, and executive summaries.
• Develop recommendations and COAs to address financial challenges.
• Interpret and apply financial management policies, regulations, and strategic objectives.
