Job summary

The J.M. Smucker Co. is seeking a Distribution Supervisor for our Imperial distribution site. You will lead day-to-day warehouse operations, oversee receipt, storage, inventory management, and order distribution to support business needs.

In this fast-paced environment you will develop your team, monitor performance metrics, ensure safety, and drive process improvements to improve service levels and costs. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent
• 5+ years distribution experience, including supervisory
• Experience with warehouse vehicles and machinery
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Experience with inventory management

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory accuracy using all program tools
• Provide system support to the team
• Gather, organize, and review inventory and reports
• Schedule workload based on volume needs
• Leadership: set goals, develop capability, model collaboration, conduct performance reviews
• Manage environmental performance of facilities (electricity, gas, water) and liaise with landlord/utility companies to resolve issues
