Zusammenfassung

CenterWell Pharmacy is seeking a Dispensing Pharmacist to oversee the accurate and timely dispensing of prescribed medications on site at our Orlando, FL dispensing center. The role requires interpreting and independently determining appropriate actions within a highly automated system.

Responsibilities include label and order accuracy checks, collaboration with the health care team, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's of Pharmacy or PharmD degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Active Pharmacist license from the Florida Board of Pharmacy.
• Ability to participate in Federal prescription programs.
• Ability to solve problems and encourage others in collaborative problem solving.
• Work ethic that is focused, accurate, and highly productive.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient with computers.
• Will work onsite full time at the CenterWell dispensing Center located at 11010 Florida Crown Dr. Suite 200 Orlando, FL 32824.

Aufgaben

• Help prepare prescriptions through a highly automated system.
• Check for completeness and accuracy of all new and refill labels and orders.
• Check for content and accuracy of all drug packaging and labeling.
• Work with fellow health care team members.
• Assure compliance with legal requirements within the pharmacy.
• Process and check for completeness and accuracy of all new and refill Braille and Talking Vial orders.
• Research medication issues.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by management.
