Job summary

Entergy seeks a Dir, Capital Projects to lead major capital projects within the generation fleet, driving scope, schedule and budget from planning through start-up. This field-first role requires extensive site travel, on-site ownership, and strategic governance of mega projects with executive oversight.

The incumbent will coordinate with Power Generation, Environmental, Regulatory, and Supply Chain to ensure safe completion, commissioning readiness, and reliable operations across multiple sites

Qualifications

• Advanced CCGT commissioning knowledge including startup, tuning, and performance testing of CCGT systems.
• Experience managing large field logistics networks and internal fleets for utility operations.
• Proven history as a high-travel executive in heavy industrial field environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Stage Gate process deliverables and project progression.
• Lead multi-function project teams and contract personnel.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain on procurement and contract administration for EPC and equipment.
• Ensure alignment with Operations, staffing, spare parts and long‑term maintenance.
• Collaborate with Regulatory to obtain necessary certifications and testimony when required.
• Maintain roster of contract personnel for major construction/commissioning activities.
