Job summary

SkyePoint Decisions in Arlington, VA, is seeking a Mid-Level Digital Forensic Analyst to support the Diplomatic Security Cyber Mission program, providing expert digital forensics to enable secure, lawful investigations. On-site only, five days a week, you will examine data from devices and cloud sources, prepare reports, and provide testimony when required.

Candidates must have a bachelor's degree with 5 years' experience (3 years with a master's), U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of related experience; 3 years with a Master's.
• Must hold one of the listed professional certifications.
• Strong ability to write clear, technically accurate reports.
• Experience with mobile and non-mobile forensic tools.
• U.S. Citizenship and interim Secret clearance eligibility.
• Willingness to travel for on-scene seizures and testimony.

Responsibilities

• Conduct forensic examinations of data from devices, cloud sources, and other platforms.
• Apply scientific methods to analyze and present digital evidence.
• Produce clear reports for investigators, prosecutors, and stakeholders.
• Provide expert testimony on examination procedures and findings.
• Maintain chain of custody and conduct on-site evidence handling.
• Stay current on digital forensics developments and best practices.
