Node.Digital LLC is seeking a Host Forensic Analyst to support critical federal engagements in Arlington, VA. The role requires leading forensic teams, conducting cyber investigations, and delivering detailed reports on findings.

Candidates must have a TS/SCI clearance, U.S. citizenship, and 5+ years in digital forensics. You will collaborate across locations and mentor junior staff while ensuring rigorous evidence handling and reporting.

Qualifications

• Must hold U.S. Citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance.
• Minimum 5+ years in cyber forensics investigations with standard tools.
• Ability to create forensically sound evidence images and reports.
• Experience with chain of custody and proper evidence handling.
• Able to coordinate forensic teams across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and assist federal forensic teams at onsite engagements.
• Provide technical guidance on digital evidence and investigative techniques.
• Write detailed forensic reports and perform peer reviews.
• Mentor junior staff on data collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Coordinate inventory, examination, and analysis of computer evidence.
• Translate analytic findings into executive and technical reports.
• Serve as liaison explaining methodologies and protocols to stakeholders.
• Document on-site incident response activities and report to leadership.
• Analyze and extract insights from suspected malicious code.
