Job summary

Mission Nursing Home in Plymouth, MN is seeking a Dietary Coordinator to support the dietary department, ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, and coordinate daily food-service operations.

The role includes ordering, documentation, staff training on safety and dietary guidelines, and assisting with cooking when needed, with an 8–10 day pay period and rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a senior care, skilled nursing facility, healthcare, or related setting preferred; culinary experience per dietary guidelines.
• ServSafe certification required or must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
• Ability to use computers and basic office software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee operational and administrative duties in the Dietary Department.
• Place food and supply orders aligned with budget.
• Maintain documentation and reporting per Minnesota and federal regulations.
• Audit daily dietary operations for compliance with regulations.
• Meet with residents to assess satisfaction and meal quality.
• Ensure meals are served safely and timely.
