Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Southbridge, MA is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to operate imaging equipment for diagnostic purposes and ensure patient safety under ALARA guidelines.

The role requires ARRT registration or registry eligibility, MA licensure, CPR certification, and strong communication with patients and staff. The position is full-time, on-site, with varied day/evening hours and rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
• Registered by the ARRT or registry eligible; Licensed by the MA Department of Public Health.
• CPR certification required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiologic equipment to acquire diagnostic images.
• Monitor patient safety and ALARA compliance.
• Explain procedures and obtain patient histories.
• Prepare rooms and manage supplies.
• Record and file images and patient data.
• Report equipment problems and supply needs to supervisor.
