Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our Ft. Lauderdale team onsite.

You will support senior DevOps engineers in managing the release pipeline, CI/CD, and configuration management, with collaboration across IT, QA, PMO, security, and infrastructure teams. You will maintain environments, assist with automation requests, provide level 2 production support, and help integrate external vendors with AutoNation CRM and digital systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field.
• 2 years of experience in DevOps/related role with ITIL-based release management, ALM, and CI/CD.
• Experience with version control systems (centralized and distributed) and automated build/deploy pipelines.
• Ability to design and implement process automation using scripting tools (PowerShell).
• Knowledge of zero-downtime deployment strategies, cloud infrastructure, virtualization, and monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

• Support senior DevOps engineers in managing release pipelines to multiple environments (DIT, QA, Stage, Production).
• Maintain lower environments and up-to-date build documentation.
• Provide level 2 production support and remediation for incidents.
• Assist in vendor integrations with AutoNation’s CRM and digital systems.
• Participate in daily SCRUM with development and QA teams.
