Job summary

Auto Club Enterprises is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to embed security into CI/CD pipelines and developer workflows across on-prem and cloud-native environments. You will lead secure-by-default engineering practices, build internal tooling, and drive automated testing and compliance.

The role requires deep knowledge of AWS/Azure, container tech, IaC, and secure development. You’ll collaborate with engineering teams, influence security adoption, and contribute to threat modeling and architecture

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software engineering, DevOps, or DevSecOps in enterprise or regulated environments.
• Hands-on security of CI/CD pipelines and modern stacks.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and containers (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, Cybersecurity or related field.
• Proficient in Python or Bash; strong Linux and Git knowledge.
• Strong communication and collaboration with engineering teams.
• Familiar with Jenkins, Git, and Agile/Scrum.

Responsibilities

• Embed automated security controls into CI/CD pipelines across build, test, and release stages.
• Build and maintain internal DevSecOps tooling and platform extensions.
• Track production and cloud environments to detect, log, and respond to misconfigurations.
• Drive cloud-native security across AWS and Azure; secure Kubernetes and IaC.
• Evaluate tools and drive standardization to reduce complexity.
• Translate regulatory requirements into automated engineering controls.
• Collaborate with developers on secure coding and safe cloud configurations.
• Lead vulnerability management and remediation; participate in threat modeling.
