Job summary

RTX, a leading aerospace and defense company, seeks a Customer Support Engineer to support depot-level maintenance, overhaul, and remanufacturing of military jet engines. You will collaborate with internal teams on technical dispositions, supply chain, and fleet management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years aviation/jet engine experience, or advanced degree in related field, or an Associates with 4 years relevant experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• Travel 10%.

Responsibilities

• Manufacturing blueprint interpretation.
• Item Repair strategy development.
• Technical data review & interpretation.
• Support processes authoring technical dispositions and SAP EQN system dispositions.
• Participate in lean manufacturing initiatives for process improvement.
• Coordinate with jet engine remanufacture supply base repair sourcing and execution.
• Assist fleet management programs coordination.
• Provide technical support for hardware field issues.
• Prepare product team technical presentations and cross-organization communication.
• Develop standard work and process matrices.
