Job summary

Serco Inc. in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Network Administrator to support LAN/DISA networks for Live, Virtual, and Constructive training events.

You’ll manage cryptographic devices and ensure network readiness for simulated and live events on-site at Kirtland AFB, under the 705 Combat Training Squadron contract. The role requires a DoD Secret clearance eligibility, 2+ years of networking experience, and a strong grasp of layer 2/3 routing, VLANs, and secure configurations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 2 years IT networking experience.
• Ability to obtain a DoW Secret Clearance.
• DoW 8140 IAT Level II or higher within six months (e.g., Security+, CySA+, CISSP).
• Solid understanding of core networking principles, IP subnetting and routing protocols.
• Experience with VLAN operations (Layer 2/3).
• Hands-on switch/router configuration and security management.
• Working knowledge of copper cabling standards (568B).

Responsibilities

• Maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot LAN and DISA network systems for uninterrupted LVC training support.
• Configure, secure, and optimize routers and switches.
• Implement and manage Video and Voice over IP (VoIP) solutions.
• Configure and maintain VLANs across Layer 2 and Layer 3 infrastructures.
• Oversee IP subnetting and routing protocol management.
• Manage, configure, and secure TACLANE encryptors (KG-175) using GEM One.
• Collaborate with training coordinators and engineering teams to ensure network readiness for events.
