Job summary

RedTrace Technologies seeks a Network/System Administrator II to install, secure, and sustain the DoD network environment at Kirtland AFB. You will manage LAN/WAN, architect network models, participate in SAP and SCI/SAP activities, and support day-to-day operations under minimal supervision.

Responsibilities include configuring Windows Server, RHEL, hypervisors, and security tools, applying patching, maintaining SOPs, and contributing to incident response.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years related experience
• Thorough knowledge of Windows desktop and server OS, Exchange, and RHEL administration
• Cisco networking and virtualization knowledge
• LAN/WAN technologies and data backup knowledge
• Familiarity with COMSEC policies and integration
• Knowledge of RMF/CC/SSP for assessments and authorization
• Experience with PL2/PL3 network environments/systems
• Customer-service orientation in a technical role
• Ability to automate repetitive tasks
• Familiarity with patch deployment (WSUS/YUM)
• DoD policy familiarity
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Install and operate LAN/WAN and data networks
• Manage COTS and GOTS products for security and operations metrics
• Follow O&M checklists and develop SOPs for service delivery
• Operate SIEM tools and generate alarms/reports
• Assist in evaluating cybersecurity tools and processes
• Participate in security incident response as needed
• Maintain competence on Windows Server, RHEL, hypervisors, and network/security tools
