Job summary

NomadX is seeking a hands-on Decontamination Engineer to design, model, and support deployment of chemical decontamination systems at client sites. You will work with AutoCAD/SolidWorks to create models and specify flow, dilution, and pressures while engaging directly with customers on-site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, Process, or related field).
• 7+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD/CAD/SolidWorks for system modeling.
• Strong knowledge of fluid dynamics: flow rates, volumes, dilution, pressure.
• Excellent communication; explain complex ideas clearly to clients.
• Willingness to travel to client sites.
• Based in Sacramento CA, Boise ID, or Lincoln NE.

Responsibilities

• Design and model decontamination systems using AutoCAD/SolidWorks.
• Specify flow rates, volumes, dilution factors, and pressures for client applications.
• Measure and monitor chemical concentrations to ensure decontamination.
• Support system installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting at client sites.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear explanations for non-technical stakeholders.
• Own projects end-to-end and drive resolutions without supervision.
• Travel to client sites as needed to support deployments.
• Collaborate with R&D and operations to meet technical and commercial needs.
