Job summary

CADREX Manufacturing Solutions is seeking a Deburring Lead to oversee deburring operations, ensuring parts meet finish specifications while guiding a team of technicians. The role focuses on coordinating workflow, enforcing safety and quality standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical and leadership skills, with hands-on experience in deburring and reading blueprints.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of deburring or finishing experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Prior leadership or team lead experience strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and finishing equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Effective communication and team leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the deburring team to meet production schedules and quality standards.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate deburring technicians to ensure consistency and competency in deburring techniques.
• Inspect parts and processes to verify conformance to finishing specifications and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Assist with hands-on deburring of complex or critical parts using hand tools, power tools, and specialized finishing equipment.
• Communicate with machining, quality, and production teams to resolve issues and ensure smooth workflow.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including part counts, inspection logs, and equipment usage.
• Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and company policies.
• Monitor and maintain deburring tools and equipment, requesting repairs or replacements as needed.
• Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency.
• Support 5S and lean manufacturing initiatives within the department.
