Job summary

Privia Health is seeking a Mammography Technologist for the Breast & Imaging Center in Houston, onsite at 427 W. 20th St. The role includes mammography and bone densitometry, with a focus on patient care and safety.

Schedule begins as part-time (3 days/week) with potential to move to full-time as patient volume grows. The ideal candidate has ARRT certification, an accredited radiology background, and at least 1 year of clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience.
• Quality control experience preferred.
• Associate degree or radiology program graduate.
• ARRT registered and Certified as a Medical Radiologic Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Operate breast imaging equipment for data acquisition and image reconstruction; document images and perform quality control measures.
• Prepare patients for breast imaging procedures and provide patient education.
• Prepare patients’ films for interpretation by a radiologist.
• Maintain radiation safety practices and HIPAA compliance.
• Assist in maximizing productivity and perform other duties as assigned.
