Job summary

The Breast & Imaging Center in Houston, TX is seeking a Mammography Technologist on-site for breast imaging and bone densitometry. You will work under the Manager of Mammography Services with potential to transition to full-time as patient volume grows.

Essential duties include preparing patients, operating imaging equipment, and ensuring image quality with safety and privacy compliance in a patient-centered setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in radiology.
• Associate degree or radiologic program graduate.
• ARRT registered and certified as a Medical Radiologic Technologist.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and patient privacy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for breast imaging procedures and educate patients.
• Operate breast imaging equipment for data acquisition and quality control.
• Prepare patients’ films for radiologist interpretation.
• Maintain productivity by completing scheduled and unscheduled work.
• Follow radiation safety measures and HIPAA guidelines.
