Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems or related field.
• 4+ years of data scientist experience with statistical modeling and ML on large data sets.
• Experience with data storage and management tools (S3, SQL, MongoDB, HBase, Apache Atlas, Kafka).
• Programming in Python or R with libraries (pandas, numpy, polars, dask).
• Experience with data science toolsets (JupyterHub/Notebooks, Apache Spark, MATLAB).
• Knowledge of data modeling principles.
• Experience extracting insights from structured and unstructured data.
• Cloud development experience, preferably AWS.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• US Citizen with TOP SECRET/SCI Eligible clearance or ability to obtain clearance.
• Background check completion.

Responsibilities

• Architect and prototype a modern data management and application development pipeline in local or cloud environments.
• Perform data analytics on simulated and real-world data.
• Integrate structured and unstructured data from disparate sources.
• Develop applications and models for various users.
• Provide technical input to program managers and government representatives.
