Job summary

SunSoftOnline is recruiting a Data Network Telecom Technician for a state agency in Phoenix, AZ. This contract-to-hire role is 100% onsite, Monday-Friday days, with conversion to full-time employment after a successful probationary period.

Starting late August, you will be paid $28.00–$29.00 per hour W2. Eligible candidates must live in Phoenix and be available for an in-person interview within one week, with the ability to start within two weeks of an offer.

Qualifications

• 4 years of cable technician experience in installation and maintenance of digital computer systems, peripheral equipment, or telephone station equipment and related systems, OR 2 years as a Lead Cable Technician.
• Technical training in electronics or telecommunications through a trade union, technical school, or accredited college may substitute for 1 year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Installing, repairing, splicing, testing, and terminating telecommunications and electrical cabling (copper, fiber, coax).
• Installing and maintaining network and communications equipment (routers, switches, cameras, video and PA systems, site security equipment).
• Coordinating repair and installation projects with vendors and internal teams.
