Simple Mining is seeking an on-site technician to keep cryptocurrency mining operations running in Thompson, IA. This full-time role requires commuting daily and offers a starting pay of $18/hour. No relocation and no remote work.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of hands-on experience, with basic networking knowledge and data-entry accuracy. Benefits include health coverage and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ year of hands-on or technical experience in mining or IT.
• Basic understanding of networks and IP addresses.

Responsibilities

• Keep Operations Running: track and close work tickets, prioritize machines needing attention, maintain records in Foreman and other systems.
• Repairs & Maintenance: perform routine maintenance and basic repairs, diagnose issues, read miner logs, replace overheating components.
• Network & System Support: monitor machines with Foreman and BTC Tools, troubleshoot network connectivity, set up IPs and bring new miners online.
• Site Support: assist with setup of miners and pods; keep site clean, organized and secure; train team members as needed.
