Job summary

Simple Mining is seeking a hands-on technician for an on-site, full-time role in Osage, IA. Local Iowa residency is required and daily commuting is expected. Starting pay is $18/hour, with comprehensive safety gear and materials provided.

You will track tickets, maintain equipment, perform routine repairs, and assist with miner setup and site operations. The role emphasizes learning new systems, data accuracy, and teamwork in a fast-paced mining environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ year of hands-on or technical experience.
• Basic understanding of networks and IP addresses.
• Willing to do physical work and commute daily.
• Able to learn new systems and enter data accurately.

Responsibilities

• Track and close work tickets quickly.
• Prioritize machines that need attention.
• Maintain accurate records in Foreman and other systems.
• Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues.
• Read miner logs and resolve performance problems.
• Handle overheating, replace filters, and keep machines running efficiently.
• Monitor machines using Foreman and BTC Tools.
• Troubleshoot network and connectivity issues.
• Set up IPs and bring new miners online.
• Assist with setup of miners and pods.
• Keep the site clean, organized, and secure.
• Support and train team members as needed.
