Job summary

RTX Data Center Operations role based in Massachusetts will manage the installation, maintenance, support and monitoring of Data Centers onsite, with travel as required to MA sites.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of related experience or an advanced degree with 3+ years, and must hold an active U.S. Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship. Expect emphasis on facilities management, power, environmental safety, and rigorous documentation.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent experience with 5+ years of relevant work, or an advanced degree with 3+ years.
• Experience managing Facilities and Power for IT Data Centers and related environments.
• Active US Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship is required for clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Manage installation, maintenance, support and monitoring of Data Centers onsite.
• Coordinate environmental monitoring, power outage response and safety issues.
• Maintain Data Center documentation, naming conventions, and change control processes.
• Escort facilities events/projects and coordinate with vendors and third parties.
• Mentor team members and adapt to after-hours work when required.
