Job summary

STN, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Engineering Lead in Orangeburg, SC. You will provide technical leadership for electrical, mechanical, and building systems, ensuring maximum uptime and safe operation across critical data center infrastructure.

You will drive maintenance programs, oversee upgrades, and coordinate cross-functional teams with a focus on reliability and compliance. The role reports to Infrastructure & DCO and requires deep expertise in data center facilities, strong leadership, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years in critical facilities, data center operations, or mission-critical environments.
• 3+ years leading engineering teams, projects, or technical programs.
• Ability to read and interpret single-line diagrams, electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and control system diagrams.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to facilities engineers, technicians, and contractors.
• Oversee operation, maintenance, and reliability of critical infrastructure systems.
• Develop and optimize preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
• Lead infrastructure upgrades, capacity expansions, and commissioning activities.
• Ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and adherence to engineering standards.
• Manage engineering service providers and contractors; review deliverables.
• Oversee BMS/EPMS and facility monitoring systems; develop performance analytics.
