Job summary

ABB is seeking a Site Operations Manager to lead onsite startup, testing, and commissioning of medium- and low-voltage power delivery systems within mission-critical data centers across North America. The role requires strong leadership and coordination with project teams, subcontractors, and ABB staff to ensure safe, high-quality, and on-time delivery.

Based remotely in the United States with primary onsite execution responsibilities, you will drive alignment of resources, schedules, and safety

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in electrical equipment field service, startup, testing, or commissioning.
• Experience supporting data center construction or mission-critical electrical projects.
• Strong knowledge of commissioning processes, electrical protection systems, and power distribution equipment.
• Travel up to 75% throughout North America, often for extended durations.

Responsibilities

• Lead onsite activities related to startup, testing, installation, and commissioning per scope, quality, safety, and schedule.
• Coordinate with Project Manager to validate resource readiness and milestone alignment.
• Serve as the primary onsite client representative and maintain daily progress updates.
• Plan onsite activities, logistics, and multi-trade work interfaces while ensuring safety and compliance.
