Job summary

Epiroc is seeking a Cycle Counter at our Milwaukie, OR facility to maintain accurate inventory, perform counts, and reconcile ERP data to support material availability and continuous improvement in the plant.

This onsite role requires a high school diploma, forklift certification, and experience with cycle counting and ERP/MRP systems. The shift is 1st shift and the position is not eligible for immigration/work visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience with cycle counting, inventory control, warehouse operations, material handling, or inventory movements preferred.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems in a manufacturing or distribution environment is preferred; experience with Infor Syteline or M3 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily and scheduled cycle counts of materials to meet accuracy goals.
• Verify and record shop-floor inventory data within required timeframes; compare physical counts with ERP records.
• Review ERP transactions and material movements to research and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
• Conduct root-cause analysis of count variances and document findings.
• Communicate shortages, variances, and inventory concerns to stakeholders to prevent delays.
• Prepare inventory accuracy, variance, and root-cause reports.
• Maintain item identification and location labeling using 5S and visual-management standards.
• Assist with physical inventories and inventory-control audits.
• Support process and system improvements to reduce excess inventory and improve material flow.
• Safely operate forklift and other powered equipment when required.
• Follow safety, quality, environmental, and workplace procedures.
