Job summary

Information Systems Solutions, Inc. (ISS) seeks qualified candidates to support a Security Operations Center for a US Government customer.

This 100% onsite role focuses on Tier 2 customer service for security incidents, leveraging an IT service desk background to specialize in cybersecurity. You will analyze scanner findings, assist with STIG configuration, coordinate with system administrators, and help maintain endpoint security, VPN settings, and compliant network access.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in a service desk environment.
• Active security certifications listed above preferred.
• Clearance: Secret; IAT Level II certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 2 customer service for security incidents via phone, email, chat, and ticketing tool.
• Analyze security scanner findings and recommend patches and countermeasures.
• Assist with STIG configuration and verification on RDT&E systems to ensure baseline standards.
• Help maintain endpoint security, VPN configurations, and proper network access controls.
