Columbia Banking System is seeking a Cybersecurity Manager to lead a team focused on securing products and driving security throughout the development lifecycle. The role emphasizes training, metrics, and staying ahead of cyber threats while ensuring regulatory compliance.

The position is based in Tigard, OR and requires on-site work. Salary ranges from USD 116,647 to 140,000 per year with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity.
• Experience in governance, risk, and compliance (GR&C).
• Leadership experience in cybersecurity.
• Strong knowledge of product security, training, and metrics.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team of cybersecurity professionals focused on securing the organization’s products.
• Develop and implement training and awareness programs covering cybersecurity best practices.
• Monitor and report on cybersecurity metrics to evaluate effectiveness of security initiatives.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into the product development lifecycle.
• Stay current on cybersecurity trends and threats to proactively address potential risks.
• Demonstrate compliance with applicable bank regulations and policies and keep up to date on changes.
• Follow bank policies and complete required training.
• Coach, mentor, or train others as needed.
• Support the organization’s vision to become the 'Business Bank of Choice'.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
