Kimley-Horn is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to join the Information Security team in-office in Austin, TX. You will secure cloud environments, IAM, PAM, DLP, and AI governance while collaborating across the organization to identify risks and implement security controls.

The role emphasizes securing data, cloud services, and AI-enabled applications, with responsibilities spanning threat modeling, incident response planning, and compliance documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
• 5+ years of enterprise cloud security or information security experience.
• Professional security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, Security+).

Responsibilities

• Analyze cloud infrastructure risks and communicate findings.
• Lead IAM initiatives including authentication, authorization, and privileged access management.
• Develop and maintain DLP controls across cloud services and endpoints.
• Design and manage PAM solutions including just‑in‑time access and credential protection.
• Establish AI security governance including authentication and monitoring for agents.
• Track cloud app vulnerabilities and work with dev teams on remediation.
• Perform threat modeling and security assessments for cloud services and AI apps.
• Collaborate with IT and application teams to integrate security controls.
• Participate in tabletop exercises to test incident response plans.
• Document security controls and procedures for audits and compliance.
