Job summary

United Integrated Services (USA) Corp. is hiring a CWI-certified QA/QC Inspector to perform field inspections of welding, piping, and associated systems on a high-tech industrial construction project in North Phoenix, AZ.

You will review plans, track NCRs, and ensure compliance with IPC, IBC, NFPA and ASME Section IX, coordinating with contractors and officials. The role requires a strong safety mindset, detailed record-keeping, and the ability to interpret codes on-site, with occasional travel

Qualifications

Requires valid CWI/ASW certification and a high school diploma or GED.
5+ years of experience in industrial/commercial plumbing or related field.
Experience with fire sprinkler and fire suppression systems desirable.

Responsibilities

Conduct weld inspections and daily field inspections.
Prepare and review Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and Procedure Qualification Records (PQR).
Monitor and document subcontractors' WPS, PQR, QMPs, Weld logs, Weld maps, Welders certificates.
Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, and relevant inspection data.
Log inspection reports electronically and input results into permitting software.
Review construction plans to ensure compliance with codes and standards.
Identify and document non-compliance on-site and notify contractor.
Draft and follow up on Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
Read and interpret relevant building codes on-site and provide compliant solutions.
