Job summary

Freudenberg Performance Materials is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Martinsville, VA, to serve as the primary contact for customers, manage quotations, orders and documentation, and coordinate samples and shipments. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills and an ability to work onsite in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The candidate should have 2+ years of customer service experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and familiarity with ERP/CRM

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
• 2+ years of customer service experience in an office environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/CRM systems.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite in a fast-paced environment.
• Manufacturing industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective and existing customers, providing timely and professional support.
• Prepare, manage, and follow up on customer documentation, including quotations, order confirmations, invoices, and credit notes.
• Coordinate customer orders, returns, exchanges, and sample shipments while maintaining accurate records in CRM and ERP systems.
• Monitor accounts receivable activities, support collection efforts, and manage monthly consignment stock coordination and invoicing.
• Track and resolve customer complaints by collaborating with internal departments to ensure timely follow-up and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain sales data and company systems, prepare regular and ad hoc reports, and support sales activities in partnership with account managers and sales leadership.
