Job summary

Vantage is seeking a Critical Facilities Engineer to support data center infrastructure. You will work with a team of electrical and mechanical engineers on maintenance and repair of UPS, PDUs, generators, ATS, and building controls to ensure very high uptime.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with mission-critical facilities, reading blueprints, and strong technical writing skills. Onsite role in San Antonio with opportunities to work across a large-scale data center network.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with maintenance and repair of industrial electrical and mechanical systems in mission-critical facilities.
• Knowledge of electrical distribution, HVAC, PDUs, UPS, switchgear, and building monitoring/automation equipment.
• Ability to read commercial building blueprints and electrical single lines.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain and service critical data center systems (UPS, PDU, Diesel Generators, ATS, Building Controls, Chillers, CRAH).
• Develop reliability reports to ensure uptime targets are met.
• Coordinate and oversee maintenance vendors while ensuring personnel safety and continuous power to critical load.
• Create MOPs, SOPs and EOPs for maintenance activities and updates.
