Job summary

Salute Mission Critical LLC. seeks a Critical Facility Engineer II at our Forest Grove, OR data center. The role focuses on operating, maintaining, and improving critical facility systems to keep uptime above industry norms, with shift options and onsite responsibilities.

You will work with teams and vendors to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient equipment like generators, switchgear, UPS, PDUs, AHUs, and chillers, while supporting client needs and service delivery.

Qualifications

• Five years of directly related data center equipment operation and maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire/life safety systems.
• Experience with building systems and technical problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and respond to abnormal conditions in facility systems.
• Perform planned and ad-hoc preventive maintenance across engineering trades.
• Inspect building systems for HVAC and electrical distribution, ensuring safe conditions.
• Respond quickly to emergencies and manage indoor air quality events.
